Try Taking A Bird’s Eye Cruise for your first cruise.

Following the example of our fine feathered friends:

The struggle is real – take your first cruise instead

If you struggle to choose a destination for your vacation it might be time for your first cruise. You have a set number of vacation days (we commend companies challenging this norm) and a set budget. The risk of a singular destination is, for example, should you opt for Italy and dislike gelato and pizza right away (a highly unlikely scenario), you’re stuck. Your money and vacation days are gone. You are sad… and we’re sad for you.

A woman looks over a map with a toucan on her arm. She is wearing a hat and is viewed in profile. The toucan has a grey body with a large orange beak tipped in black.

Instead of randomly dropping a pin on the map or putting all your eggs in one vacation basket, we recommend you take your first cruise. Try a sampler vacation from a bird’s eye perspective! BUT rather than observing from the air, approach from the sea. Land and explore the port, sample the area, sail out, and land again. Take a bird’s eye cruise!

Using Europe for an example, a ten-day itinerary could include nine or ten ports! What a great way to discover countries you want to visit in the future for longer periods of time. If you dislike a port, the next day will be a completely different experience — likely in a completely different country.

This year don’t choose one location, choose lots of locations on your first cruise. We can help pair you with the right one. Providing better cruise matches for our customers is at the core of CruiseAlly’s mission — no PTO or dollars wasted.

Nauti dad-joke alert…

Q: What did the woodpecker say on his first cruise?

A: This itinerary is im-peck-able.

(Yes, we made this joke up because we care that you laugh, roll your eyes, and even groan at our blog posts)

Have you ever cruised like this? Where and why? What country or port did it compel you to return to? Please share your story with us at TalkToUS@cruiseally.com

We put a lot of effort into making our blogs helpful and laughable. There are two specific blogs that are helpful for both packing to sail and for ensuring a smooth transition into land life on your return. Those two blogs are: Arrive Home Happy – Cruising Tips for Land Life and Packing List Check 1, 2, 1, 2 – Talking Ship.
